West Africa is a land of contrasts both in geographical characteristics and social structure. The believers are a wonderfully contented people in spite of their lack of possessions. City church buildings are often large and filled each Sunday with choirs and instrumental music. Town and village churches are much simpler and the worship often without instrumental accompaniment.
